Is that Vanda Pink Fairy - Neofinetia falcata x Vanda teres? I have several, but haven't seen them bloom yet.

RAY: sorry didn't see the question. Actually I wish I knew when I got it it was from this Thai lady who didn't really speak English and I damn sure can't speak Thai. The tag says neofinitia falcata X terete vanda semialba. So I'd love to the name as it drives me crazy to not know.

I am interested to know if you will pot it in bark or spag moss. And will you use a neo pot, clay, basket...... I have looked at all of these and can't decide which way to go. I just bought it 1 week ago.

Me is actually potted in a mix of bark and coconut coir. It retains enough moisture in my hot Florida greenhouse but still drains well. I tried it in a few things because I have two and that's been the best. I know it sounds weird but it's the best I've found so far. Hope that helps. Mine just put out three more flowers. Il take a pic when this crazy rain stops.
