Default Arundina graminifolia

Arundina Graminifolia. It's been in bloom one flower after another for about three months now. The ant is about 5'5". It lives out front with a lot asarum and different bromeliad species.

Must be awesome to live some place where you can grow that stuff outside most or all of the year! I had this species, but I'm an indoor grower with limited window light, so it was one that I eventually had to part with due to its size.

I love Bromeliads as well. I'm bigger on the Tillandsias and Cryptanthus than I am the Neos.

Asarum takes the same amount of light as Arundia? Or is the Arundia providing the Asarum some shade?

Yeah I've lived in a few places and as far as my plant collection goes this is the best so far. And the Arundina actually is at the edge of my garden so it gets almost full sun the asarum is ground cover closer to the house so it's shady. If you ever need any tillandsia let me know I have a lot. Definitely enough to give them to you. Me and my brother started collecting them way before I got into orchids so they've multiplied like crazy. And when I said bromeliads I kinda lumped all of that stuff together. I have a bunch of billbergia, neoregailia and cryptanthus out there too. If you'll actually keep them happy I'm def down to share the wealth.
