You can manually self pollinate the flower and produce a vanilla like pod that will ripen in 4 months(120 days) and you can soak it in brandy = you can use it for ice cream and deserts.

this is the link to my post of last year, this year I have only a couple of pods....I am posting the pods soaked in brandy ready for cooking or using it just like vanilla is used.
