Platystele beatricis
Platystele beatricis - this is true mini-miniature, especially when talking about the blooms! Coming from Colombia, definitely not cold growing as it states on some websites, I do grow this one for years in intermediate (76F days/69F nights), and it does bloom many times a year! Grown in small wood glass terrarium with my Lepanthes species, moist, bright LED light, weak fertilizing. Hard to take pics of the tiny blooms!

Gorgeous.
My stenostachya was me dipping my toes into platystele.
I'm hooked. And this one is beautiful.

Thanks Patty and Ordphien, this one is great, living together in the terrarium with Platystele reflexa, and that one is in spike pretty much whole year, cute little orange star shaped flowers, so they are sisters :-) Reflexa is little bigger regarding leafs.

I really like Platystele and I have a consobrina and a stenostachya. The consobrina has not bloomed yet but it is much bigger than the stenostachya. I hope it will bloom soon. These all seem to have such tiny awesome flowers. I need a beatricis.

Patty, got beatricis on the eBay, but haven't seen it since for sale, I would get another one just to try outside once I see one. Reflexa is from seller here in Florida, and it's really growing great and spiking nonstop -)

Oh I like this one. Love the little cluster of blooms seems like it would make it easier to see with the naked eye.

Shannon, these are really really tiny, you can see it with the naked eye, but it looks much better on the macro picture :-)
