Lepanthopsis astrophora Male
Default Lepanthopsis astrophora

Lepanthopsis astrophora - this was my very first miniature orchid and I will always love it, very special relationship! Easy to grow, shade, keeping it moist all the time, weak fertilizing, intermediate temperatures.

Lovely color and form. The shimmering petals will be more emphasized if you photographed it under the sun....

Tommy I've had my little astrophora for a month and noticed a new leaf over the weekend. Yesterday while misting it I found 8 spikes with buds! I was so thrilled, I never expected it to bloom so soon. Seeing your pictures just makes the waiting easier. Beautiful!

The little plant is very full and has maybe a dozen old spikes that I have left. These spikes appear to be new ones. It should be covered in blooms and I am thrilled.

I love this one too. I got one too after seeing it here on the OB - Another example of how TommyMiami feeds my addiction

Mine blooms well and continuously.

Mine too. I also have this one and love the little thing. Got it last summer. It's bloomed twice for me since, the blooms last a long time and they're so darned cute!

Ah yes, I always love seeing this one. It looks so wispy, is that a word?
