Well it was a good run, but November is done and no blooms.......here's a pic of what I hoped would be November's bloom of the month, Masdevallia Cheryl Shohan 'Red Hot Mama'. Leave it to a woman prettying herself up to make me late!

Here we are at the end of the year! My little project didn't quite work out as I'd hoped, but I gave it a good run. And there's next year......... This month is a total surprise. As crunch time approached I figured it would come down to one of two of my orchids if I was going to have a December entry. Nope! In interest of full disclosure, I admit this flower isn't completely open. But I can smell it, so it counts! Cymbidium goeringii 'Lian Ban':
