Spike growth and blossoming timelines? Female
Default Spike growth and blossoming timelines?

Hey all!

I do have some pictures to share, but I think I'll show it in the comments if this post takes off.

I am wanting to see timelines of peoples' flower spikes and blossoms! Any type of orchid, any time in your growing history! Share them!

I am trying currently to keep tabs on the growth of my first flower spike I've ever gotten on my plants (on an odontocidium wildcat).

It's so interesting to see the spikes peek out their heads, bend, wrinkle, stretch, and start to pop out buds. The bud development is especially special to me. I'm interested to see this process on many different species and intergenerics.

If you've got good timeline images of your orchid flower spikes, I would love it if you shared!
I hope this counts as "in bloom now" and I apologize if I've improperly encroached upon this thread.
