What type of plant is your bloom on? It looks very unique and quite lovely. What size is that flower? It looks large!

My friend is a very knowledgeable grower. Both hobbiest and professional. I love his GH and wander through every chance I get. He breeds orchids too. My orchid here is C. Schilleriana-like. Unknown exactly which. It got it as a small seedling from Santa Barbara orchid Estates. Lost the tag through moving too much. The flower is 4 inches across and the color of the lip is much deeper than this rendition.

I'm jealous because he has so much room. But he has little time for anything else. Most of it is automated but still he spends an inordinate amount of time out there. He has orchids I can only dream about.
