thanks you all I been kin of busy with family and the orchids had truly become a past time. I think its time to enjoy them again

The Bc's do shoot the pups out the base of the rhizome at an extreme angle. They eventually rise when they become larger and sturdier. I sometime wrap them up in wine net to lead them as you have seen. I think this trait comes from the nodosa...Brassavola is very strong in this one.

...my left overs. I lost about 30 plants. Mostly older ones who had been thru more than they should have.


heh I got lots of buds I just dare not count the flowers yet

How nice that spring has arrived in your part of the woods....giving you beautiful flowers....it is erratic weather in my part and I am not yet bringing out my plants....I'll wait until it is really really warm outside.

the other side of the Bc Little Stars. These are a few weeks older.

the surf song is going big kahuna style shhhhh

the keiki surf song has 2 spikes also if you see to the bottom left. I planted it last November off the mother.

a dtps from carmelas I got last year in the grab bag just done blooming this week


an encyclia stellata x bractescens? you can barely see the spikes. theres 12 spikes


Spring is good the few days we have of it left
