Default A S/H NoID...or genus/species, etc.

Here's an orchid I put into S/H a few months ago. Bought it in bloom February of '13. No idea what the heck it is, as it came without a tag, at a discount. Gotta love discounts. Kinda nice, especially how it loved a transfer and just kept moving forward.

The flowers are just lovely! I am not even going to venture a guess as to what it is. Still, it is really a nice find.

Those flowers really are spectacular. I'm with Leafmite - not gonna attempt a guess - but absolutely lovely all the same.

I know nothing about them but it looks like some sort of Zygo to me. Nice bloom!

Thanks folks. There's more on their way too.

Off to look at Zygos... here goes that foreign language lesson again.

Can't be certain, of course, but looks a bit like Zygonesia Cynosure to me, or something hybridized with it.

Thanks Ray. I saw that one on your w.site... Mine must be a hybrid something or other, as the petals are larger and "fluffier" than all the others I've seen. Here's a picture that has truer color:

It's very fragrant, but the leaves don't appear to grow out of the bulb quite the same as the other pictures I've looked at. All the leaves come straight out top of bulb, not bulb with leaves coming from the side, if that makes any sense.

And just as info, boy does it like S/H. Once I repotted it...BOOM!... it started spiking out within a month.

Agreed with Ray and Zygonisia = Zygopetalum x Aganisia.
