Bl. Petite Stars, Bl Wonder Star, Brassovola Little Stars and Paphiopedilum lawrencianum x Memoria Robert Ward
The last picture was what my Brassovola Little Stars looked like three years ago. It was on it's way to a nice specimen until I forgot to put it in the greenhouse one night when we had 26F and it all froze except for a couple of pieces that I attached to a piece of grapewood. To my amazement it has recovered quite well.
sorry about what happened to the Little Star, but that blooming isn't bad at all, right?
I have one (for one year now) and it tripled in size.
I have never seen anything that grows this fast. lol
The second one is fragrant but I have never detected any scent on the first one.
One of the traits that I like about B. Little Stars is that a lot of growth is produced through the warmer months and it all blooms at once during the fall making a great display. Bc. Maikai 'Mayumi' is another one that does the same thing garnering a lot of CCM's.
