you need to type [img] then without any spaces type the http:// address of the picture, then again without any spaces type [/img]
so it will look something like this when you're typing, except with a real web address including the http:// : [img]webaddress[/img]
or a shortcut is to click the little insert image icon on the upper right of the posting toolbar and then paste the link into the box that appears.

go to the page where the photo is displayed, then right click on the photo itself and choose properties. you will see a web address in the middle of box that pops up. select that and hit control-C. now return to orchidboard, open your message, type [IMG], then hit control-V, then type [/IMG].
or, once you return to orchidboard and your message, click the insert picture icon (looks like a yellow sky with a gray mountain), and hit control-V, then return.

I think it is important when you are right clicking to get the picture properties, that you do so on the picture size you wish to display.
This one looks a bit big. 1536 x 2304 pixels is large for a post. 600 x 450 is more manageable and helps to keep the image and post displaying on the screen.
