forget about the subway. I don't want to get cooked underground.

I'm staying in with full a/c going today and tomorrow.

Only with a/c, I will cook.

Minestrone I thought was for winter. Who cares though, right? you eat what you eat when you want to eat it.

Stay cool~

I have a separate thread on it but mostly just pictures not too much info.

The hand written tag says LC. Lavendar Lady but other members tell me they can't find this name registered anywhere.

I got it from a local grower. I also plant to cut it into half when flowers are done.

Anybody is welcome to take it.

#3 is wildcat silver 'Cool Room' I also like this plant.
Flowers open green yellow, and then over the course of about two weeks, the lip bleaches out white and the petals turn bright yellow.

The white paph is Armeni White.

contrary to popular rumor: cold drinks will only help alleviate your suffering for a very short time; then you need to drink once again making the sugar overload....warm soup in the heatwave helps with the salt in it to regulate body fluids in; instead of perspiration...this is taught in first aid course by the red cross....warm soup for the heat wave and cabin fever in the winter.

So you have repealed the laws of thermodynamics ? If you put heat into the body it has to be dissipated. If you put cold into the body it must be heated up so it uses some of the body's excess heat and reduces the need to dissipate that heat.
