"Bag babies" at Lowe's are orchids that are sold in plastic bags. At my local store they are in the greenhouse area with the houseplants and not necessarily near the Phals.
If you get to the store soon after they get a new shipment, you might be surprised at what you might find. One find of mine was a Vanda with a hand written label. I don't have the name with me but it is a nice, healthy plant and growing well.

Its not that expensive at around 649$ for the structure. Its all else ya put into it that you cant account for that cost money
