I have no idea how many spikes there are, much less how many buds and blooms...
Potted in a combination of pumice and perlite. Grown outdoors year-round here (zone 9), sheltered from weather in winter. It gets sun all morning in summer, but where I have it is mostly shaded in winter. No true winter rest, tho water is reduced in winter.
Canes can (and do!) get multiple spikes - I think this one has some that may have as many as 5 or 6 spikes - and can also bloom more than once. Keikis on the plant can bloom even very young - this plant has a handful or so of keikis started last summer; most, if not all are blooming as well.
These are very temperature tolerant, but I believe they will not bloom if kept too warm.
Blooms are not exceptionally long-lived - around 2-3 weeks. But, I have gotten a few more blooms later, in summer - but much fewer than in spring.
Thanks for looking
