Liked the color and thought the shape was good. Nowhere close to being my favorite, though.

These are actually two flowers that re-bloomed on last years spike. This years spike got broken off while watering.

Beautiful! I know I have seen a few hybrids that look "just" like this. That said, it does look like Phal Brother Sara Gold.

I would think that this is a good way for growers with lost tag plants to get rid of them. Sell them cheap to the big box stores where most people wouldn't care what the name or parentage of the plant is. So who knows, it could be the cross you mentioned.
