Like Gloria, this was one of my first orchids. The tag is so old it actually calls it an Epi! Mine is also almost an ever bloomer, it is out of bloom about 2-3 months of the year and then starts up again. Right now it has 7 spikes,a couple of which appear to be branching) with about 5-8 blooms per spike at all times. It's a great conversation piece too!
It has been forgiving when re-potted since it has such mature growth. I do try to report when there are new growths but that is also when it is in flower. I haven't lost flower or growths on a repot yet
My biggest problem is scale. I am just diligent and pick the little critters off by hand or with a q-tip in alcohol, but they do seem to persist.
