Woo hoo!! Blooms!

Here's my new Orchid shelf. It's a memorial to my Grandma. I have my Wilsonara blooming, the little white phal hasn't bloomed in almost 3 years since I rescued it from the half dead rack at Low's. The giant Jurassic park looking one is my Grandma's. It's been blooming for almost a year now. I inherited it when she died in January. It's waaaaaay outgrown for the pot, but it won't stop blooming so I can bet a digger pot. Hope you enjoy! (I used to have them under lights, but they seem to love the east facing window above the sink, who knew!?)

I'm pretty excited myself! I've only ever had one bloom at a time, so three is huge. One of the other Orchids has started a spike also, so I might have 4!

Lana took the words right out of my mouth! Your grandma wouldst be so very proud!! And by the way, I am sorry for the loss, I know it can be hard. I saved my grandmas things and plants and everytime I see them I think of her. I know that's how she would have wanted it. Ok, I'm crying now, lol... Gotta go!
