Beautiful batch, RJ! I especially like the C. intermedia and P. amabilis. Too bad that one Phal doesn't smell like bacon, bacon smells good.

What a nice variety of blooming orchids! There's a little bit of everything there. Nice pics too, the extra greenery in some of them gives a them a wild look.

thanks you . I have paphs and masdys working as we speak for the next blooming brigade.
I grow all the extra greenery too btw. I love my greenery. I have some farm fresh catts on the way along with some more masdys. Ive been culling down what I have and putting them into my jar worlds since I moved. Tossed out a bunch of stuff that wasnt doing well. Most of that were the 1st plants I bought a few years back when I got started. I been learning not to pull the leaves off. I ruined some buds trying to clean my plants up, and some I just ruined the plants bec I wouldnt leave them alone. Im still noob.

Wonderful orchids and absolutely marvelous growing areas! I would love to sit there and read a book or two.

How are you growing your masdies? That looks really interesting, and it might be useful for my masdie, it dries out really fast.

ahh you have noticed how awesome the masdys grow?
those are RJ's jar worlds...The jar is a beta fish bowl. Some rocks any kind thats not real small in the bottom, I use medium granite chips. I put bark charcoal mix (regular orchid stuff) over that. Moss around the top and the plants are in little net baskets with more moss or bark. I use mostly moss in the net pots. Use good moss and it will re-grow for you in the jars also. The rocks keep any water thats in the bottom from wickin up too fast into the moss or any roots. The plants stay moist from the moss giving up the moisture, but the roots never contact any standing water. I do water the plants about once a week with the weekly weakly fertilizer and mist them regularly if needed. I grow lots of different orchids in the jars. Several have really surprised me how well they have done in them.

Thanks! I'll have to try that, this weekend I'll buy what I need, and try to track down my lone net pot that is stored away, somewhere!
