No idea from me. First time I've seen one with that coloring. I've seen purple and black, yellow and black but not that.

Anyone have an ides what it might be. Would like to get something similar if I could find one.
What I have is a NoID from COSTCO (It had Rocketfarms.com label on it) and there is no telling what it might be. However, last year I saw an orchid with similar (not exact) colorings at Pacific Orchid Expo:
Bakerara Silver Chalice 'Truth'

But this one has much larger flowers.

It looks a lot like my Odm. Margaret Holm 'Alpine'. Can't say for sure, tho.

Beautiful! I would love to have that oncidium hybrid!

I just love your flowers...especially the twinkle in the mug...I am glad you moved and can grow your orchids to bloom

Iv'e seen oncidium odontoglossum type hybrids with the name Cambria that look similar.

Love the Oncidium noid and LOVE the Twinkle! I've never seen a twinkle with such relatively substantial blooms.

Thanks everyone!

It really does look like it. My oncidium will still be a NoID but now i have something else to call it.

To me, it looks like Odm. Margaret Holm 'Larkspur' -- I have one just like it. Google a pic of it. Love them.

Odm. Margaret Holm 'Alpine' is what I thought as well.

By the way, it's amazing what the light can do to orchids. I also moved to a brighter apartment this year and other than keeping my plants watered enough, everyone is doing much better as far as flowering is concerned.
I'm happy for you!

I love your red twinkle in the white mug. I tend to do the same thing with any plant potted in 3 inch pots. They look so neat that way.
