I am assuming Lc. x Slc. = Slc. just as a Slc. x Lc. = Slc. right?

Lc. x Slc. would indeed be a Slc., BUT there have been a number of changes to the classification of Cattleya alliance species lately (among them all Sophronitis and many Laelia species) that result in the parents now being C. Jalapa and C. Bright Angel. That cross was registered as Slc. Jalapa Angel (before the species changes). The single quotes would indicate a clonal name; a clonal name would not be registered.

Just a update picture and a little more info...
contacted the breeder who made the cross and he tells me mine is indeed a true seedling not a clone or division and that means I have the only one and it is unique "yes there are other seedlings but they are not this one and all are just a bit bifferent"
The Breeder told me this is one of the best he has seen ,but he has only saw 3 or 4 so far in bloom. He also said he thought it would rank among the best of the cross in the end...such a great surprise and just cool as can be to have one that is unique
It is registered as Jalapa Angel and with the name changes I assume it is a c. now with the name changes
