The foliage is very healthy and it has always shown new growth, but no flowers! So...I think I will hold on a little longer, read more on the forum and see if I can get a flower worth the wait. Reading your post and knowing I gave someone hope absolutely made my WEEK!!! I have some very stubborn plants that grow happy but dont flower, and have thought about selling them, but whenever one finally blooms, it more than makes up for the wait!! I have one Oncid alliance plant, no idea what it might be, I bought it 6 years ago previously bloomed and its nice and big and healthy, light green leaves, hasnt been moved in over 3 years, and still no sign of flowering!! Its frustrating, but when it flowers one day, I will be ecstatic!!

It's great but I agree, it doesn't look like a Lippewunder. I actually like it better!

Is the bloom as big on the smaller type plant? What's that one's name? I've been looking for one of these big Pahps but the small size plant is appealing.

The bloom size is (going by memory) pretty much the exact same. The name of the little one is Paph. Keyshill x Winston Churchill. There isnt a vendor name on the tag and I picked it up at a local greenhouse that doesnt know anything about orchids but once or twice a year they order a random shipment in from their supplier. It is just starting to develop a sheath, so I will take comparison shots when it flowers.
Here's a size comparison, and a shot at the root condition of the little guy, who desperately needs a repot! lol
PS, the little one blooms twice a year for me, and I have had 4 flowerings from it so far in the 2 years its been in my collection.

Wow! What a size difference! The little one sure has good looking roots and you get good performance from it. I will watch for that cross or failing that, one of those parents. I know Clouds has some bulldog Paphs. Thanks for the info!

Did you know your hybrid Paph. Keyeshill x Winston Churchill has a name?? It is Paph. Ossipee. And it is 3/4 Winston Churchill as Paph. Keyeshill's one parent is Winston Churchill also (the other parent is Carl Keyes).

I saw a similar bulldog on Clouds website that said it was compact, I think it was called Chilled Bubbles. They have an awesome selection, I cant wait to order in spring!! Im getting into a major species cattleya addiction and they just added a new one! lol

I think I remember Paph. Chilled Bubbles but didn't see it now as I was just looking. Maybe in their 'limited' section. what new Catt. species did they add?

Yeah, I think it was in the "Limited". They added C. mendelii and C. guttata var. alba to the catt section!! I also emailed them this fall to ask about plants that might not be on the website, and they got a huge selection that were recently deflasked and should be ready in the spring, one of them being Laelia pumila!

I also managed to track down (from a different vendor) C. schroederae, C. trianaei var. coerulea, C. rex and C. violacea this fall!!

My Phal Stone Dance finally popped a bud open! Definitely not white, but the color is still beautiful!! It is really hard to capture, although I had terrible lighting to work with. It has a very shiny, glossy surface on the front of the sepals and petals. I got this one from Kingfisher Orchids this past fall.
