World Orchid Conference Photos Part One

Hi, I will do the photos in stages, I have nearly 1000 of them and obviously I won't be posting them all. These are some of the champions and some also rans, I really need to sort through the photos for you all but this is the best I can do for now. I must admit that I didn't use a flash and in hindsight I should have (or a tripod), my wife did a good job using the flash on her camera though so I am using a mix of photos from both of us. I will also say the light wasn't great for photography (in my defence):

Thanks for sharing pics!! Looking forward to more. You are so lucky to have been able to go. I will never forgive myself for not going to the 2005 WOC in France, which was barely 2 hours away from me. My orchid obsession was only just starting. Next time it's in Europe, I'll go, but that may be in a long long time, the next one is in South Africa, and in 2017 it's Ecuador....

Thanks for the pictures. I too missed the show when it was close by (in Vancouver). I only grew tillandsias at that time. I was so hoping that the 2017 show would be in Montreal, I'd be able to go. A trip to Ecuador is not in the picture.

Actually I was sort of hoping that Montreal would win 2017 but I am going to Ecuador anyway (hopefully). Australia also missed out which was a shame.
