What's Blooming right now
So, after 3 years of growing new orchids, repotting, caring, killing, watering, fertilizing, tossing, and just everything in between, I've got some in bloom. This is the first time that all the blooming orchids are home "spiked." It took awhile, but here's what in bloom now...
In order:
Onc Gower's Ramsey, 'Sunkist'
Milatssia Shelob, 'Red Spider"
Onc Sharry Baby, 'Mikasi'
Zygonisia Cynosure, 'Blue Birds' By far a favorite
Phal violacea (indigo x sumatrana)
Phal Tying Shin Cupid, 'Montclaire'
I've got a few others that are finally spiking that I'll post later. The above is merely proof that after you've killed a few, and figured out your particular habits/space, you really can get them to grow and bloom.

Ahh the feared question until recently. I just started moving the orchids to their new downstairs home. I'm somewhat mimicking what Ben Belton did with his, but I really just started as only the lights are up.
So, with that, not counting anything I'm getting for my birthday, I have 31 phals, 10 Oncs/Psyc, 3 Zygopetalum, and 4 Catts. I also have a smattering of others.
I'm a huge fan of Zygos, and I'm really starting to settle down with Phals. Everything else helps with getting some Fall/Winter Blooms while everything else grows up for Spring and Summer

Wow, you only have a couple more than I do! I can't do much to catch up now, but come spring, watch out!

Congrats on all the blooms. That's an impressive number of blooms out of your collection. Great growing and nicely photographed as well.
