Umm.....If you don't mind.....to me it looks more like a Tillandsia Intermedia. I haven't seen medusae with leaves that curl back as much and the spike branch so far. Also, Intermedia pups just like that (anywhere, including existing spikes) instead of the base to where (I believe so don't hold me to it=)) medusae does......If I am wrong I apologize and am not trying to step on your toes or anything (if it comes off that way) just trying to help

And if you google Tillandsia Intermedia you should get some pictures of the spike that resembles yours=)
