Default My current bloomers...

Here are a couple of my favorites in bloom now.

The Cattleya trianaei I aquired by mistake. It was sold as C. Bob Betts 'The Virgin' but bloomed out as C. trianaei 'Mooreana'. Nothing like an unexpected tag swap. At least this was another one that used to be on my to get list. I am thinking that someone out there was expecting the C. trianaei 'Mooreana' and got a white flowered Cattleya instead, Bob Betts 'The Virgin'.

The Phalaenopsis philippinesis 'Oak Leaf' I got from Courtney Hackey as an HCC awarded stem prop a few years ago. Gee thinking back I have had this one for 7 years now. But after all these years it is looking like someone did not pay to have the award registered. This years blooming has had the largest flowers since I have had it. They are normally 2.5"NS but this year they are at 3.25".

Oh wow! I love that C. trianaei . You are too lucky!!
That Phal looks gorgeous too. Why oak leaf? I can't imagine a Phal with oak like leaves.

Thanks for the comments all!

Well, Tindo that is the cultivar name that it came with. Who knows if I can get it to a reasonable blooming for a show it may change.

That C. trianaei is amazing....my wish list includes a trio of "tri's": 'Mooreana', 'Jungle Feather', and 'Jungle Queen'.

Someday.

And yours is gorgeous anyways
