Yeah, I am absolutely crazy about it. As long as I can get it to survive the hottest part of summer, it should be fine.

Wow!! I even like your Dendrobium! What a gorgeous Masdie you were able to get! And I love the way you mounted the Catt. in the first post.

Thanks, man! That was my very first attempt at mounting a plant myself and it's done really well, consistently blooming a couple of times a year. I'm really proud of it.

As for the Masdie, they had a bunch of them at the show and they were all really fantastic. I spoke on the phone a few days later with the owner of Golden Gate Orchids, Tom, who said for some reason this year they just bloomed like crazy. I've always loved this species so I couldn't resist. It's still got new spikes coming up that haven't had a chance to bloom yet.
He also suggested dividing the plant after it's all done flowering, so I'll end up with two. How exciting! lol

Oh yeah, and that dend. bracteosum is just the gift that keeps on giving. It's been in near consant bloom for going on a year now. Love the colors!

How do you take care of it? I have about 4 Dends all NOID;s and have never flowered (which is probably why they are all NOID's). I didn't buy them and got them as gifts from my wife's family, so I can't get rid of them either. Never did like dend's except yours now.

Mine hangs in a southeast facing window, so it gets full morning sun most days. I try to water it every day, but that doesn't always happen. Normal indoor temps and humidity. Not much more to it than that. I feed it once or twice a month typically. Hope this helps. I think the biggest key is the light.
When it's nice and warm out I will take it outside for fresh air and more sun occasionaly.

Here's a couple of shots of that Epi pseudepidendrum taken a few days ago. I knew this was a really cool plant, but I must admit I've fallen in love with it way more than I thought I would.
