Default Early January Blooms

This is what's currently blooming at my house. These aren't the greatest of photos, but they were taken during cold spells, while the plants were staying cramped and underlit indoors. The Twinkle blooms are from two small divisions and they look a little sparce this year. I was actually surprised they bloomed at all.

Nice way to start off the new year! The Twinkle already seems to be a decently sized plant for a recent division. What's the third one? I really love the shade of pink!

Thanks Camille. The Twinkles are actually 2 divisions sitting side by side, and there's 10 spikes between the two of them. They were divided in early summer.

The pink blooms are from Lc. Joanne Amos (C. walkeriana x Lc. Rojo) There is a second spike on this plant that will be blooming soon...not as many as last year though. I divided this one too, and the process may have slowed things down a bit.

lovely! good growing!
I'm not surprised the Twinkles bloomed - I had a very small one (4 pbulbs I think?) I lost half to some weird rot, so was left with 2 older pbulbs and a new growth. The new growth double spiked. The spikes weren't very large, tho one was pretty decent considering the size of the plant. Unfortunately the rest of the plant eventually succumbed to the weird rot

I love the blue Vanda!

Thank you. I never get tired of looking at my chids, and I spend more time admiring them than I ought to. At least that's what my hubby thinks.
