Default Blc Apolo Moon 'Nana' and Sedirea japonica

Two fun and very fragrant ones. My mother-in-law bought these for me last week at Hoosier Orchids when we visited them (they live a few miles away from Hoosier). As you can tell, I have a great mother-in-law.

Aren't great mother-in-laws the best?

Lovely. Tell us more about the last one. Looks really small - might be a good candidate for space-deprived growers.

It is very small--leaf span is about 5 inches, and it's "full grown." The guy at the store said "grow it just like a phal." So far it seems happy with it, but it's only been a week.

Apparently it used to be classified as an Aerides, but it was recently segregated to its own monotypic genus, so they spelled aerides backwards to come up with the new genus name.

The fragrance is most noticeable in the early morning, but lasts throughout the day. It's very strong, sweet, and spicy to me.
