Today's Pics

Thought I'd share a few of today's photos. The subjects are:

Prostheschea cochleata - First time blooms under my care.

Noid Psychopsis - This her 4th bloom within the last 6 months.

Mymetonia Firefly - 2nd time blooming this year.

Noid Dendrobiums - This assortment seems to never stop blooming.

Bc. Nodata 'Maili' - Only two buds this time. She's a multi-season bloomer.

Sc. Egeria Coerulea - 3 blooms and 2 more buds waiting in line. One of these blooms displays an oddity with the dorsal sepal fused to the column.

B. nodosa - This one is trying her best to please, but night time bug activity (weevils and beetles) have destroyed many buds and marred many blooms. I've tried bug sprays and systemics but those methods don't phase them. I've found that spray craft adhesive works for spot treatments, but I get a bigger kick out of picking them off and squishing them.
