A view of my bench in bloom
It's spring time...!!!
On this bench, 60-70% of my what is in bloom now  .
The scent of all this together is amazing!!

if i were you, i wouldnt be able to leave to post this! are alot of those L. purpurata, or at least related? im really interested in the one to the far left

Yes, there's a lot of Laelia purpurata in the photo.
Far left (of the bench) is a Laelia purpurata var. striata of large flowers and big lip!

No, they are not difficult. You can grow it under the same standard Cattleya condition. I would only say that purpuratas will do better if they get two or three months of cooler temps during the winter (temps between 8ºC and 18ºC)

alright, thanks. im going to try to get one next time its warm enough to ship. I can probably do that. is 18c about 60F?
