that's my new favorite  at least this month. It's a Vanda tessellate. It's a cross of alba 'T.Orchids' HCC/AOS x 'Fuchs ' Lemonade' CHM/AOS
Recently it was crossed with an Ascda. Katherine G. Hatos -another favorite of mine- I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I took my pods to Ruben in Orchids and now I just wait. I don't wait well |

Encyclia cordigera. I don't know how tall it will get but the spikes are long I had it indoors when I first got it a couple of years ago at the Redlands' Show. I grow it now under a pergola. There's another one that looks almost exactly like it and it's blooming now too. I'll have to check the name for you. |

Thanks...That particular V.Tess is about 12" LOL I just went out to measure it for you. The first flower at the tip got pollinated. I can't blame the culprit, I would've hit that.  |

ow, that's really late for a cordigera. My var Alba and var Roseum both bloomed two months ago.
Did you leave them out in the cold? |

I did leave them out in the cold for the most part. Yes it is late this year. It still has some buds so, more blooms to come.
