Orchid Picture Day! - Orchid Board

It was Picture Day at my house yesterday, and everyone got cleaned and gussied up!

Some of these will get their own threads in their respective sections, so these are just my favorite pictures.

Behold, the fruits of my labors, what do you think?
Taken with a little Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS, but I actually went through the trouble of putting up a proper backdrop this time.

Me too, the epidendrum is by far my favorite, but they are all beautiful and you take awesome pics!

That plant is actually the reason why I joined this board. I'll explain that in it's own thread.
This is the first time it's bloomed since I got it 3 years ago- and the blooms are much more saturated.

I love both the pics and the flowers, and the epi is my favorite.

Your pics are very sharp and clear and look great with the dark backdrop.

It's the flower I was admiring, but the photo is great too, as are they all.

It's a NOID Phal, there's no way of knowing what it is. Many hybrids look almost exactly the same. Would be cool though!

yeah! where did you get it? i got mine at weiss market. and fortunately it had a tag. mine has a really cool branching habit. it had 20 buds when i got it and 7 blooms. i just couldnt pass it up. now its up to 14 blooms. does yours have a branching habit
