Wonderful day at the St Germain Orchid Show
It was raining all day on Sunday, but I decided to go down to Homestead to the St Germain show anyway. I am so glad I did! It was very small, only about 8-10 vendors, but everyone had very nice plants. Plus a couple of these vendors don't usually do shows (except Redlands), just wholesale. They happened to be neighbors of St Germain so they participated.
Well, most all of them specialize in species. So I was in heaven. I wish I could have gotten one plant from each vendor, but I could only afford 6 plants.
I got a Ludisia dicolor and a Ionopsis utricularoides form Henington Farms.
An Asctm ampullaceum with 3 spikes from Carib Plants.
A Phal manii with 2 spikes from Springwater Orchids.
And a Rosa Belinda's Dream and an Aloysia virgata from Stelmar Gardens.
Prices were very reasonable. Look for these vendors at Redlands if you go.

Yes! He was an older gentleman and I think it was his wife that was helping him. He has quite a variety of plants!
