Default Newly Blooming on Super Bowl Sunday

Who dat? Dat dem Saints! Dat who!

OK, great game, but there are flowers to look at. All are reblooms, so I've posted them here before. Still, it's nice to see them back again.

First is Phal. stuartiana. The plant itself is still small, though larger than when it bloomed a year ago:

Next is an old favorite, Phal. Sogo Grape. I really like how the flower looks this year:

One of my favorites is Phal. schilleriana, though my other plant is, I think, a nicer flower:

Finally, Phal. mannii flava. I've been battling mealy bugs, and didn't know this plant had any on it until I looked at the photos. The little bastids are gone now! The flower:

Thanks for looking!

Wow, I really like your phals. Especially the Phal. schilleriana and the Phal. mannii.

They are all beautiful. I have a Phal. schilleriana which I hope will bloom in another year. The foliage is also pretty on that one.

I like the last one, with its waxy yellow flowers.

Best of luck with the mealybug problem. Hopefully, they'll go right away.

They are all gorgeous John. I especially love the stuartiana and the Sogo Grape is always a favorite of mine.

Wow! That is the coolest stewartiana mugshot I have ever seen. The rest of your choices and culture are great too.

Thanks for sharing.

Stunning stuartiana! Good thing orchid growing isn't a race. My stuartiana is just finishing a leaf and hasn't even spiked yet.

Love them all! Thanks for the eye candy!
