Wow you two!!! I'm jealous! Spectacular shows, both of you!
I only have two phals in spike at the moment (besides the two that arrived in spike, which are at home *tear*). My usually dependable white NOID grew two leaves (instead of the usual one) and the barest beginnings of a spike, but it hasn't developed further. Probably some difference between my care and that of my parents, who took over for me this year. My bastianii was showing a hint of swelling when I went home for Christmas, but I didn't want to risk moving it and causing the buds to blast for the third time, and it's roots looked happier in western Washington humidity, so it stayed home.
Question, John: When do stuartianas typically spike? I know it's a spring bloomer, but how long does it take for the spike to develop? Should it have started to spike by now?
