Anyway, the price of that brachiata in drift wood (you'll have to buy the whole thing) is Php25,000!!! It is actually a huge plant so no brachiata went home with me... I'll explore first for cheaper price.

hello Uly, can't help in the plant id...i'm sorry. the Cleisostoma Uraiense is cool.

Anyway, went to Silang specie farm today and 6 plants went home with me. One dendro specie, 1 phal x intermedia (hehe can't wait for my small intermedia to bloom), 1 paph specie, 2 stauro specie (luzonensis & lucheria), 1 bacolod native cattleya.

Are you sure this is P25K? The last time I was there the seller offered this for P5K, the entire plant and P500 for single division. Or perhaps the seller is not consistent on his pricing.

I love this cattleya. I don't have a budget but Zildjian i was pretty sure he can buy it. Its just that he got intimidated by the sheer size of the specimen. It was really big. And the fragrance was lovely.

Anyway, do you still remember the name of this beaut?

thanks

yup i was there, i couldn't even believe it that the seller was selling the stuff for Php25k ($500). I said to myself, wow this orchid is far more expensive than myself.

baka nga tinaasahan na lang ng seller price kasi sigurado nasa isip ng seller...."eh hanggang tanong lang din ito". ahihi i wonder if they were able to sell it.

If I can't find a cheaper specimen somewhere else I'll settle for a 500 pesos cutting next time.
