Ascda Irene Dobkin x Vasco Five Friendships

I've been watching this one closely for weeks now!
I got it as a tiny seedling a few years ago and this year she decided to reward me

The blooms are about 1 1/2" across and the whole plant is mounted on a piece of cork.

It is SO cute!

Is Irene Dobkin an Ascocenda? The one I have is an Asconopsis and it's the only Irene Dobkin grex registered. Either way, what an interesting cross! Where did you get it? It's so cute!

According to Orchidwiz there is only one registered Irene Dobkin, and it's an Asconopsis. The cross Asco Irene Dobkin x Vasco Five Friendships is registered as well, and is called Brighton's Friendship.

LOL....when I bought this seedling in May '05 the name was Ascda.

I saw in OW that it's been changed but I didn't look up the hybrid name...thanks Camille
