This was the first bloom (ever) for this Catt.

Blc. Waianae Leopard 'Ching Hua' AM/AOS x L. tenebrosa 'Copper King'

Not that it's hideous. But considering the parents, a little lacklustre. At least it has a decent fragrance.

It's not exactly what I would have expected from the parents, but it's nice and I'd sure keep it. You may be happier with the next bloom season, once the plant matures.

I think its really pretty. But then, I go for the sort of toned down ones more than the real flash.

I believe it is now a collectors item. At least the place I got it doesn't seem to be cloning any more. But I will keep you in mind if I decide to let it go.

Gee, Doc. I kinda like it. It's not nearly as bad as many (ok, most) of the hybrids I have made. Maybe this is one of those cases of pH D parents not always having smart kids!!

I dunno, looks pretty to me. Doesn't C. leopoldii or C. sanderiana look similar to this one?

I think it's lovely and I agree it looks like C. sanderiana, I like the muted maroon-brown cast.
