a couple in bloom now
Here are two that are blooming now. A Blc. Keowee 'Newberry' and a Paph. Maudiae type. I've been careless with pictures and posting lately, so I've missed a few that have bloomed. Oh well . . .

I like them both. I'm always a fan of Maudiae types and I love the spotting on the lip of the Newberry.

Me too, Rosie. One of the things I like is the length of bloom time. Most of my Paph's last from 2-4 months, but this one is especially long-lasting. It has been blooming for almost 4 months now, and has spent most of that time in the house (not greenhouse) with no care other than a once-a-week watering.

Ed, that makes 2 of us. Because of a simple thing like having a toenail removed, I have spent 30 minutes out of every hours, since the first part of February, flat on my back with my foot higher than my heart. I'm diabetic, I got an infection, and it wouldn't heal. Fortunately, I was able to save my foot and lover part of my leg. Unfortunately, I lost a lot of use of that leg.
I'm sure my orchids appreciate getting better care now. They suffered more than I did, and quite a few of them rebelled and died. Possibly I will be able to give them more TLC, and to take more pictures to post. I now have less to input into Orchid Wiz
