Some recent blooms
I have a few things in bloom at the moment, so I thought I'd share them.
The first is Phal I-lan Green Pixie, I got it at a show at the beginning of the month and it's finally opening some blooms. I love the blooms, bu for some reason a few open a bit deformed with a yellow/brown spots at the edge of the petals.
The second one is Miltonidium 'Rosy Sunset' that I got at a show last october. It's a young plant, and this is it's very first blooming. It smells really nice, like chocolate, vanilla and flowers. Some of the blooms are a bit deformed, I hope it will be better next blooming!
The last one, Phal Pink Panther, it's not a new bloom, but I thought that I would post a photo since it started blooming late November, and it is still going strong! It's a multi tasker too, there are 2 new leaves growing now, as well as some roots. Love this phal!

Camille, They are all nice, but like the others, I really like that Green Pixie. How big is the entire plant?

I like the green one too, Camille! Very neat!
Since November? Wow! I got Phal flowers on the stem for 4 months at most! Good, very good job!

It's a very compact phal due to its breeding (one parent, Phal Timothy Christopher, is very compact, and used a lot to reduce the size of hybrids). I have three plants in one pot, and the largest plant has leaves that are only 14cm (5.5in). I don't know if it will stay that size, or get bigger. Luckily I went to the show early the first day and got it right away, because a few hours later, they were all gone!

Gorgeous blooms, Camille! I too just L-O-V-E that Green Pixie Phal! The contrast between the super-green background and the purple spots is just too cool. Love the markings on Pink Panther too. Does it perhaps have heiroglyphica (one of my all time faves) in its background?

Pink Panther is strange, because everyone in EU seems to own it under that name, and the commercial grower and retailers (like Easy Orchids in UK) list it as such on their website. The trouble is, it looks nothing at all like the real registered Pink Panther, so it's name is obviously wrong, but I can't find a trace of its real parentage. It has very thick waxy petals, that curve in so they look a bit cupped.
