whats been blooming lately
Hello to all...new members and old, its been a while since I've posted pics. Been trying to get better with my new camera, then got into birdwatching as well as bonsais all to get a few good shots. Gotta be careful where a camera may lead you, thats all I'll say.
Anyway I do still photograph my orchids and thought I'd share some of the things that came around, some are still here. Well hope you guys like at least one of the pics. Not my best photos but some of my fav. orchids. Peace....

They are all beautiful, but I'm with you, I love Vandas. I sure wish I could grow them outdoors. A couple of years ago I took some out onto my deck for the summer. That took care of most of my vandas. A powerful storm sent my vandas all over the neighborhood. I was only able to (sort of) salvage 2 beat up plants. Only one of them has bloomed again. Now they are all banned to the basement.

Awww that's terrible Marilyn I hope that never happens here but it could. Some of mine are on trees and some on wood fences where the roots are all wrapped or clinging and I leave them out during hurricane season. I cross my fingers and wish them well. But I'd be pretty bummed if I lost them all.
