Central FL orchid show finds :)
I went with a list, but ended up with only one thing from the list! Sometimes, you just don't know what you will come across. I think I did a pretty good job, and got this all accomplished in one hour, since I had to be to work. Anyway, enjoy...
Pic 1 and 2 are:
V. bensoni x V. pumila - it is very fragrant (from what I can tell day and into early evening) a chocolate type smell
Pic 3 and 4:
Phal mariae - also has a light scent earlier in the day
Pic 5, 6 and 7:
V. denosiniana - very fragrant almost all day long and all night from what i have seen so far (flowery type scent)
Pic 8, 9 and 10:
Den. Nora Tortunga (not sure how to spell the last name part and don't have the tag with me) which is Den. atroviolaceum 'pygmy' x Den. rhodostictum

Nice haul! I love the Phal. mariae! It's beautiful! The Den. is named Nora Tokunaga. I believe Nora is the wife of Roy Tokunaga who is the R in H & R in Hawaii.

The last one is Asctm. ampullaceum. It has two plants in the basket, and had a total of 11 spikes, just starting to open. I had to remove one that had some sort of bugs on it, and I treated it, so hopefully the rest of the spikes will make it.

Thanks for clearning that up. I knew it was something like that..couldn't quite recall! I will add it to my file so I have it with me in the future. I love the Phal too, it was quite a find, I think. I got it for $15, and it seems to be a pretty decent size to me.
