April Blooms (Ascda, Phals, Catt, Anosmum, etc.)
Hello! Here are some pictures of what is currently blooming at my house. These are just plants I have bloomed out myself. I will make another post of the goodies I got from the orchid show yesterday.
Pics 1 & 2 are Ascda. Princess Mikasa 'Blue' - one of the easiest and most frequent blooming vandas I have
Pic 3, 4 and 5 are all NOIDS
Pic 6, 7 and 8 are Phal. Minho Princess
Pic 9 and 10 is a Catt NOID - this one has about 30+ growths on it.

Very nice! Good growing. I of course love the Vanda, and I also really like the color on the Catt noid.

Thanks! I forgot the add the Catt NOID has a nice fragrance in the daytime. It fades by around 4 or 5, but it is a lemony scent, almost reminds me of lemon pledge!

Jenn, although I'm really partial to vandas, I love the #4 NOID. Your vanda is also beautiful, such a pretty blue.

Thanks everyone. I am so happy with the babies lately. Lots of flowers and any many more spikes to come.
Jackie, yes I did switch over to lava. It just rains way to much over summer (plus watering the vandas) for bark anymore. It stays too wet. I started using lava with charcoal and bit of spag. So far it seems to be working quite well. Everyone is happy so far. And the lava is so cheap! Like $5 for a huge bag that will repot at least 10-15 'chids or more! yippe...
