Hey Thanks everybody

I get most of my plants from two nurseries in Switzerland, which have a lot of "not very common" species (but one need to go there, and go there, and go through the greenhouses or ask them to for specific plants or let them send suggestions... other source is Kopf Orchideen during the shows

as per the Orchidarium, yes I have done it myself (however, I let a profi build the tank for me after my instructions/design)... the whole process can be seen here: Vivarium - a set on Flickr

oH!!!!!!!!!! I love your orchidarium. It's fantastic, and so full of many great plants. You have them in such a beautiful arrangement. I could look at that all day. Congratulations on such a beautiful job you have done.

Great blooms Ramon! Those are so unusual for me that I have never even heard of them. I love the Meiracyllium, the color is wonderful!

That first one is one of the most beautiful orchids I've ever seen! Is it a slipper type? And your orchidarium looks museum quality. I imagine I could stare at it for hours in person!

Thanks a lot!

The Meiracyllium is an orchid from Central America, and is related to Epidendrum and Cattleya (Epidendrinae)

Hey Ramon, after seeing your post I just had to read up on the Trichopilia, and found out that they can be rather hard to grow. Have you found them harder to grow in your experience? Certainly looks happy!
