Mine has no smell, Nichole and they aren't new blooms!!
I think sometimes when the culture is changed the smell can be taken away until it gets acclimated to it's new environment and blooms again. I've noticed this with several new purchases in the past.
I hope you start a new thread of yours with pics, soon. I'd love to see pictures of yours!
