February blooms
From left to right:
• Calanthe rosea – the blooms had just begun to open, so no spike picture (15-20 blooms)
• Epidendrum ellipticum – Has been blooming in this sparse way for 4-5 months (the reed-stems go for a loooong time)
• Lc. Fire Dance Patricia – has 3 spikes with 5-6 blooms each – COLORFUL
• Maxillaria varibilis – the plant is healthy and hardy, but bloom is always sparse for me
• Paphinia Majestic – usually has spikes of 6-10 blooms, several times a year – it was just re-potted, maybe sulking, so just 2 this time
• Ryncholaleia glauca – one of my favorites
• Rynchostylis gigantea v. alba – First bloom, and a little sparse – better to come, I hope
