Finally...some new bloomers
Want to share with you some latest blooms taking place on the homefront. Have 17 Phals growing their buds now, lots of double spikers this year. Don't know quite what to attribute this to except, the older they get, the better they get! Have a couple of new blooms on some Dends and about 5 Toulimnias now, spiking.
Anyway, hope you likey!
Pics 1 & 2 - A NoID Phal I've had forever. Never loved it but it loves me. It's got 18 buds on one spike, 2 sub spikes still growing buds and another spike, still growing. Couldn't quite capture the color on this one. It's spots are a purple/red.
Pics 3 & 4 - Dendrobium Lorrie Mortimer. This plant is huge, about 3&1/2 ft. tall. It's giving me a teaser of only 2 blooming spikes but summertime is when this plant really puts on a show. I love this one.
Pics 5 & 6 - Dendrobium Kathy Beck. It's a mini, blooms all year and it brings on cheery feelings, just looking at it Love these little compacts!

Sandy, you did say 17 Phals.....what a show that's gonna be. I really like the first Den. that's another for my wish list.

I likey! What conditions are you growing the Den. Lorrie Mortimer?, I bought one years ago and it hasnt done anything since. Although I am about to get rid of it with the rest of my larger orchids.

Nice blooms!  Your place is going to look really nice when all of the phals are in bloom. I absolutely love the first den, the blooms are amazing on it!
