Nah... on second thought, I don't need to recover!
Here are some pictures of my old and new babies.
1. Odm. Margaret Holm 'Alpine' - I got this little baby and Lowe's all dried out, but with new growth just beginning to show last Summer. Now it's blooming.
2. My new batch of orchids from Orchids and Fire in HI. They arrived on Friday. 2 night FedEx and clearly marked "Live Plants - Keep from Extreme Heat and Cold" but these poor babies were very cold on arrival. I just assumed the buds had blasted on the Mokara.
3. Imagine my delight when I got home this afternoon to find one of the buds open!!

4 & 5... There was an orchid show today.
Hubby and daughter went with me, and were kind enough to help me pick out Zygopetalum Redvale and Paphiopedilum Maudiae.
I've got spikes going on three of my phals, one is just a bit more than a nub, one is within a couple weeks of opening, one has two buds open... pics will follow
