Hi Shirley,
Your flowers and pictures are great.
Can you share with us how you set up to have different background colors? I can only do black with black cloth placed behind the plant when taking pictures. I think you are a great photographer.

Thanks, VandaFan! I have a simple digital camera with a macro lens setting. For background I have only a piece of black poster board from an art store. It isn't matte like a cloth would be, but has a slight sheen so the colour varies depending on the light and degree of reflection -- it's blacker on cloudy days than on sunny days. I also have a pale blue colour board for photos of darker flowers that don't show up against the black. You can see some of these in my photo gallery. Very cheap but it works fairly well!

November really turned out beautifully for you Shiley. They are all great looking flowers.
Excuse me for being critical but I believe you have the wrong name on plant #3. It should be Slc Jungle Beau and the clone is probably 'Lakeland' You can google it if you wish. I have Sc Crystelle Smith 'B K Orchids and it looks like the photo.

Thanks for your message, Jerry, and the picture. I will certainly check it out with Carter & Holmes where I got it. Always nice to have the correct name!
